"I can be called an artist, or not. What I do might be called art, or not. Sometimes, I feel everything can be art. And because of that, art seems to not exist at all.
This contradiction intrigues me. It creates spaces that waver between meaning and non-meaning, presence and absence. Contradiction can be, as Boris Groys writes, a form of power equilibrium. It can also be an inevitable network of tensions, and I practice within it. I mostly work with household objects: assembling and re-presenting them. Through this process, I learn to empathize with others, with things, and with myself. This practice creates changes, at least in one person, even if only myself.
One day, I might erase these words. But for now, they are part of me, as art also is, or is not–me."
